KILLER BEES ELIMINATED; FALL TO WICHITA 6-2
The Killer Bees were eliminated from post-season play on Saturday night falling to the Wichita Thunder 6-2 and falling in the best-of-seven series 4-1. The Bees scored twice as Aaron Lee and Dan Gendur hit the twine.
SHORTHANDED BEES FALL TO WICHITA IN GAME FOUR
Despite playing shorthanded the entire game the Killer Bees turned in a valiant effort that fell just short as Wichita took a 4-2 victory Thursday night to take a 3-1 series lead in the first round of the CHL playoffs.
BEES WIN GAME THREE AGAINST THUNDER, 5-2
The Killer Bees gave their series new life with a resounding 5-2 victory over Wichita in game three. The Bees now trail the series 2-1. Cody Carlson earned his first pro points with a goal and an assist while finishing +3.
TIME RUNS OUT ON BEES, FALL 2-1 TO WICHITA
The Killer Bees now trail the Wichita Thunder 2-0 in their best-of-seven series after falling 2-1 on Sunday in Wichita. Tomas Klempa was the lone Bees goal scorer and John Murray played well making 41 saves on 43 shots.
GAME ONE GOES TO WICHITA, BEES FALL 4-2
The Killer Bees fell in game one of their Berry Conference Semifinal series to Wichita by a 4-2 mark on Friday night. A 1-0 lead after the first period was not enough as Wichita scored three in the second to control the game.
KILLER BEES CAP REGULAR SEASON WITH 7-2 ROUT
It was a record setting Sunday as the Killer Bees finished their regular season with a 7-2 victory over the Laredo Bucks. Reid Edmondson recorded his first career hat trick and Dan Gendur set the new points record.
BEES PUNCH POST-SEASON TICKET; BEAT LAREDO 8-2
Dan Gendur was one of five Killer Bees to register multi-point nights as the Bees clinched a playoff spot with an 8-2 victory over the Laredo Bucks on Friday night. Gendur, Jason Dixon, and Kirill Statsec scored twice.
LEE SETS SINGLE SEASON GOAL MARK IN 3-1 LOSS TO QUAD CITY
The Killer Bees finished their regular season set of road games with a 3-1 loss to the Quad City Mallards. Aaron Lee scored the Bees lone goal, his 36th of the season setting a new Killer Bees single season record.
MAKE IT SIX; BEES WIN AGAIN 5-4 OVER DAYTON
The Killer Bees took another step towards the playoffs with a 5-4 victory over the Dayton Gems on Friday night. Aaron Lee scored twice and Brandon Campos and Scott Balan each added a goal and an assist.
LEE IS CROWNED AS NEW GOAL SCORING KING, BEES WIN 4-2
Aaron Lee scored twice as became the Killer Bees all-time leading goal scorer as the Bees defeated Bloomington by a 4-2 score. Lee scored twice and John Murray made a season high 53 saves for the win.
