TOMAS KLEMPA NAMED OAKLEY CHL PLAYER OF THE WEEK

The Killer Bees, in conjunction with the CHL, announced on Monday that Killer Bees forward Tomas Klempa has been named the Oakley CHL Player of the Week. The honor is the first such for a Bees player this season.

TEXAS AVOIDS SWEEP, WINS 4-2

The Killer Bees fell to Texas by a 4-2 score on Sunday evening. Aaron Lee scored a goal in his 224th career Bees game, setting a new franchise record for games played. In addition AJ Mikkelsen scored for the Bees.

The Killer Bees reached the halfway point of their 66 game season tonight with a 3-2 victory over the Texas Brahmas on Friday night. Aaron Lee, Brandon Campos and Tomas Klempa all scored second period goals for the Bees.

BEES LONG ROAD TRIP CLOSES WITH 7-3 LOSS TO RUSH

The Killer Bees long road trip came to a close with a 7-3 loss to the Rapid City Rush on Saturday night. Tomas Klempa scored twice and Dan Gendur scored once in the loss. John Murray made 36 saves in net for the Bees.
