TRAINING CAMP ROSTER COMPLETE
Hidalgo, Texas --- The Rio Grande Valley Killer Bees of the Central
Hockey League today announced that the team has extended tryout
offers to goalie Matthew Spezza, right wing Patrick Steinmayr and
forward Dan Stastny.
Spezza, 20, served as a second backup goaltender for the Bees on an
amateur tryout agreement during the 2007 playoffs. He is the younger
brother of Ottawa Senators forward Jason Spezza. He played last
season with the Markham Waxers in the Ontario Hockey Association.
Stenmayr, 23, played three games for the Knoxville Ice Bears (SPHL)
last season. Stastny, 22, played college club hockey at Robert
Morris College in Illinois.
Killer Bees training camp begins at 10.a.m this Monday at Dodge
Arena. The team will host one preseason game (Monday, October 15)
before opening the regular season on Friday, October 19 vs. Corpus
Christi.
The first 1000 adults will receive a limited edition Killer Bees
