BEES, KRGV-5 TEAM UP TO OFFER $5.55 TICKETS

Hidalgo, Texas --- The Rio Grande Valley Killer Bees of the Central Hockey League today announced that the team, in conjunction with KRGV NEWSCHANNEL 5, will offer select seats for $5.55 in celebration of five years of hockey in South Texas.

“We strive to offer a fun, affordable, sports entertainment product and this agreement further accomplishes that goal,” said Killer Bees General Manager Grant Buckborough. “Thanks to the involvement of KRGV NEWSCHANNEL 5, Killer Bees games are even more affordable this season.”

The special $5.55 tickets will be available beginning at 5 p.m., on game days only, at the Dodge Arena Box Office. Tickets are limited to Section 108.

“In celebration of five great years of hockey in the Rio Grande Valley, KRGV NEWSCHANNEL 5 is pleased to support the Killer Bees and Valley hockey fans,” explained John Kittleman, Station Manager at KRGV 5. “We’re excited to offer the NEWSCHANNEL 5 section of seating for a special Fifth Anniversary celebration price of $5.55 and look forward to a great fifth season for the Killer Bees!”

The Killer Bees open their historic Fifth Anniversary Season on Friday, October 19, vs. the Corpus Christi Rayz at 7:30 p.m. The first 1000 adults who enter the Dodge Arena will receive a replica Killer Bees jersey courtesy San Juan Pharmacy, Fox Rio 2 and Q 94.5 The Rock Station.
