FIFTH ANNIVERSARY WEEKEND THIS FRIDAY AND SATURDAY!

Join the Bees this Friday and Saturday at Dodge Arena to help celebrate Fifth Anniversary Weekend!

On Friday, the first 1000 fans receive Top 5 player flags as the Bees host the Laredo Bucks at 7:30 PM. The Top 5 players were selected via online voting as www.killerbeehockey.com over the summer. Did your favorite player make it?

The Bees host a very special evening on Saturday night as the team not only welcomes back some of the Top 5 Players as voted by the fans, but also honors assistant coach Sean Gillam by retiring his No. 7 jersey. Darcy Smith (No. 3 of 5) and Jeff Levy (No. 5 of 5) will be on hand for the ceremony, while Ryan Shmyr (No. 2 of 5) and Bill Newson (No. 1 of 5) will be “present” with special video messages for the fans (Shmyr is currently playing in England and Newson has a family obligation).

Fans will want to arrive early on Saturday; the first 1000 kids 12 and under get Killer Bees 5^th Anniversary jerseys. The team will wear 5^th Anniversary jerseys as well and those will be auctioned after the game with the proceeds benefiting Teach the Children.
